It is true and widely known that there is the issue of trolling on Instagram. For instance, check the post of a user that has over 5,000 followers and its almost guaranteed that you'll see at least one mean and inappropriate comment.

You can now hide inappropriate comments on Instagram by filtering out some customizable keywords. If you want to use this feature, go to your profile and tap user settings then scroll down and click the "Comments" option under the Settings. To do this, go to the profile of the particular user and click on the 3 dots shown in the upper corner. Tap "Turn on Post Notifications".

Sort Out Your Filters To Put Your Most-Used Ones First

There are currently 23 filters to select from on Instagram. A lot of Instagram users favor only a couple, and scrolling through the whole filters to locate your favorite one is usually frustrating when you are in a hurry to post a content.

However, there are some things you can do to re-watch a story from the beginning again. If you want to pause a story, simply tap and hold. To rewind, tap the screen's top left (just below the username and profile photo of the user). To fast forward through multiple stories of a single user, simply tap the screen. Hide Your Instagram Stories From Certain Users

If you don't want some users to see your stories, you need to change your Story Setting. If your account is public, even if some people don't follow you, anyone can view your stories by going to your profile and tapping on your profile photo. Additionally, there may be a few followers who you don't mind them seeing your normal posts but don't want to allow them view your stories. If you don't want some people to see your stories anymore, enter their usernames in your Story Settings. Another way to hide your stories from a certain user is to visit their profile and tap on the 3 dots. A menu will be displayed, tap on the "Hide Your Story" option.

 

Use The Instagram App To Open Layout Or Boomerang

Layout and Boomerang are Instagram apps that are used to enhance photos for post. You can download both apps for free. Layout allows you combine many photos into one post as a collage. Boomerang on the other hand allows you create a quick GIF-like post with subtle, short movements. It however has no sound.

You can access the two apps from within Instagram if you have previously downloaded them on your device. When you want to upload a video or photo using Instagram's Camera tab, look for the small Layout icon (it looks like a collage) and the Boomerang icon (it resembles an infinity sign). You will be taken to whichever of those apps you tap straight away.

Turn on post Notifications To See Posts From Certain Users

Recently, Instagram made some changes to the main feed so the posts are no longer shown in the order of the time they were posted. This was done to give users a more personalized experience. A lot of users reacted to this by telling their Instagram followers to turn on post notification. If Instagram doesn't show you the posts of a user you'd like to see on your feed, you can do something about it so you'd be notified each time they make a post so you don't miss anything. Anytime you like, you can go back and turn them off.

Switch To A Business Profile From A Personal Profile

Similar to Facebook, there are now Instagram profiles for businesses with the aim of marketing and engaging with their audience. If you are already marketing your organization or business with a normal Instagram profile, there's no need for you to create a new account -- it can be changed into a business account immediately.
